ARCH 183 - Spring 2019
Instructor | Carmelia Chiang
Natural tendencies began with a choosing of a material, in this case the material chosen was cardboard. Using the cardboard to create various variations and styles in order to find the best language the material can produce. After, there was the process of combining this material with any digital fabrication and seeing what worked best together. Next, site analysis began which was located on the Northeast corner of Sunset Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard in Hollywood. Lastly, began the synthesis. The program being a marketplace with having a wild card of choice, which became a bar.
