Partially Similar: The Undulation

Woodbury School of Architecture

ARCH 281 - Fall 2019

Instructor | Teddy Slowik

Partially similar began with a precedent. The precedent being the Nuruosmaniye Mosque located in Istanbul, Turkey. Then the process began with a discussion of symmetry and part to whole relationship made by producing a set of lineament drawings drawn from the precedents plan. Then began the partition part where it began to find the form of housing by creating unique experimentation models using Grasshopper. Lastly, picking the model with the most opportunity use it to form the final housing project being a set of apartments.
